Terms & Conditions & End User License Agreement (EULA)

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Trick (“the App”), a Mac application developed and owned by Mainworks Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 12191095), with a business address at 86-90 Paul Street, EC2A 4NE, London, UK.

By downloading or using Trick, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Description of Service

Trick is a productivity and time management app available on the Mac App Store. It offers a 7-day free trial. After the trial, access requires a paid subscription of £3.99 per month.

2. Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions are billed via your Apple ID and managed through your iTunes account.

• Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

• You may cancel your subscription via your Apple Account settings.

• No refunds are offered for partial months or unused time.

3. License Grant

Mainworks Ltd grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Trick on Mac devices that you own or control, strictly for personal or internal business purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

4. License Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the App

• Decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code

• Rent, lease, lend, sublicense, or distribute the App to any third party

• Use the App in any unlawful manner or for any illegal purpose

5. Ownership

The App is licensed, not sold. Mainworks Ltd retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including any updates, enhancements, and accompanying materials.

6. Data & Privacy

Your data privacy is important to us. As a UK-based business, we comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). We collect and process personal data to deliver our service, including:

• Usage data: task names, timer info

• Contact details: if you contact support

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App and on the website (including text, graphics, UI, code, and branding) is owned by or licensed to Trick and protected under UK and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or exploit any part of the content without written permission.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the App. Specifically, you must not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App

• Use the App for illegal or unauthorised purposes

• Infringe on our intellectual property or that of others

9. Updates & Modifications

We may issue updates, patches, or improvements to the App, which may be installed automatically. We may also modify or discontinue the App at any time without liability.

10. Termination

This agreement is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if you breach any of these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete all copies from your devices.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trick and Mainworks Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the App.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trick, Mainworks Ltd, and its team from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses resulting from your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
